    ENDODONTİ NEDİR ?

    Endodonti, diş sinirleri ve diş kökünü çevreleyen dokulardaki hastalıklarının tedavisi ile ilgilenen diş hekimliği dalıdır. Diş ağrısının, soğuk-sıcak hassasiyetinin, diş apselerinin, renklenmiş dişlerin, kaza sonucu zarar gören dişlerin tedavisi, endodontik tedavi kapsamına girer. Kanal tedavisi ve kök çevresinde yapılan cerrahi girişimleri kapsar

    Endodonti terimi; Yunanca “Endo” (içinde) ve “odont” (diş) kelimelerinden türemiştir. Bu tanımlamadan da anlaşılacağı üzere, endodonti dişlerin iç kısımlarıyla ilgili problemlere müdahele eden ve çözümleyen bilim dalıdır. Daha kesin bir deyişle, endodonti diş pulpası (damar-sinir paketini barındıran canlı doku) ve dişi çevreleyen dokularla ilgili hastalıkların teşhisi ve tedavisi ile ilgilenen diş hekimliği branşıdır.

    WHAT IS ENDODONTICS?

    Endodontics is a branch of dentistry that deals with the treatment of diseases in the dental nerves and tissues surrounding the tooth root. Endodontic treatment includes the treatment of toothache, cold-hot sensitivity, dental abscesses, colored teeth, accidentally damaged teeth. It includes root canal treatment and surgical procedures around the root.

    The term endodontics; It derives from the Greek words “Endo” (inside) and “odont” (tooth). As can be understood from this definition, endodontics is the science that intervenes and solves the problems related to the inner parts of the teeth. More precisely, endodontics is a branch of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to the dental pulp (living tissue containing the vascular-nerve package) and the tissues surrounding the tooth.
